Big Brother 8 Diary Room Sessions
I've been doing some thinking after reading some of the comments posted in the Big Brother 8 Clues post. Have any of you noticed how often Big Brother 8 tells the House Guests that they are not allowed to discuss their Diary Room sessions? I don't really remember hearing it on the Live Feeds in past seasons.
I think there's really something to this! What is it they don't want us and the rest of the Big Brother 8 House Guests to know?

First thing that comes to mind is that it's to protect Eric's secret identity. If no one is allowed to talk about DR, then he doesn't have to. The second thing that occurred to me is that with BBAD this season, a lot more people are watching live and too much would be given away prior to the broadcast show if DR sessions were discussed ahead of time. CBS perhaps worrying that live feeds, youtube, and BBAD might steal too much thunder from the main show so to speak.

I agree with Sean- I think the only new information us LF addicts get on the hour shows is through DR sessions, and it's not much. I think in past seasons, though, they have also been told not to discuss the sessions, only they respected the rules more. Overall this group is completely dismissive of the rules in general and really try to push the enveleope in several areas. I'm not sure if they all think they are above it, or simply stupid- I haven't yet decided.

Genuinegeno - I couldn't believe when Jen was telling Amber and ?Eric? that the DR was pushing her to evict Dustin pretty much. Then the "wizard of oz voice" came on telling them not to discuss and Jen actually said something like yeah cuz you know you said that to me...I don't like it when they push us in a direction then continued to discuss it!!! Ballsy that chic

This show is too much this season! I think the producers are tampering with it. I think they are very worried about youtube and live feeds. They seem to have a lot of loose cannons in there that don't want to follow the rules. More entertaining for us!

Maybe the opposite of what I thought was true is true. That is instead of Eric and Jen and someone else (not sure who) being "plants", maybe they are the only ones who are really playing and the others are acting and we're all being scammed.

Oh..lol. Maybe Amber is going to get an Emmy for her crying scenes?

or her nude scenes? hmmm Alice through the looking glass. Going to read up on the book.

Stacy- Again, I don't necessarily subscribe to conspriracy theories, however entertaining they are. I tend to believe what happens in DR's is that "handlers" discuss different possibilities and scenarios, asking them to respond to them. It may be a case where a particular scenario hadn't even occurred to the HG until it was mention in the DR. Face it, if the taped DR sessions consisted of the HG talking about what was on their minds, instead of respondig to specific questions and situations, we would have hours of blank, vacant looks staring into the walls. Very few people are exciting spontaneously, even less so this crop.
So, even though I heard her say that, I have noticed since Kail left, Jen hasn't said ONE thing that was truthful. She's hellbent on re-enacting the Dr. Will role, hoping to achieve his level semi-fame.
But, man, what a body and what an ASS! Porn or Playboy is definitely in her immediate future!

Does anyone know if any of the houseguests are awake now?

Genuinegeno - after posting it *finally* occured to me that maybe Jen is also setting up a reason why she evicts Dustin instead of Dick like she is telling the LNC she will do. She very well may just be laying groundwork for her future scapegoats

D&Dsupporter - there was one day I was watching a youtube clip and Dick was mentioning Jess just waking up at 6 PM!!!!! I guess he had harrassed her before about a supposed boob job and being narcoleptic ?spelling? because of that. I am anxious about it cuz Jess & Eric already agreed to align with D&D and told D&D through a "nod" that the deal was a go. THEN after Jameka was in HOH talking to Jess, she started to feel bad and has major concerns. I hope she doesn't back out

Well, what if the 3 can keep a secret if 2 are dead is referring to the nerd herd? There is 5 of them, eric, jess, jameka, dustin, and amber. So what if they mean double eviction wanting to get out dustin then another one of the nerd herd. This would leave 3 and maybe then Eric can reveal or BB8 will reveal to them that he is AP.?

I believe the fish and visitors stink after 3 days means double eviction. Thurs is an eviction, then Sun. is another episode, so I bet that means that there will be someone else gone on Sun.

How many times and with who has everyone seen DR sessions or discussion of it afterwards. I've only seen 3 times and mostly with Jen talking about it.
Posted by: Stacy | Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 11:11 AM
After all what is a lie but a truth in masquerade. How bout' this: They all have a lie that no one knows about, Eric has AP, and maybe D/D have "issues" but not quite to the extent they say, and everyone has a lie that will eventually be revealed. So they all think they are the ones w/ a lie but it is a truth and the whole thing is "masquerade"? Just a thought

I really think it has something to do with Jen.
However, I still say Jessica talks like Danielle and has some of Dick's sharp features. Could she be a long lost daughter? Why would a beautiful young girl like that fall for Eric, please tell me it's not true. The one lie I am praying for.

OK hot2trot. Danielle has been saying her secret is her age. You might be onto something there. (remembering, on the actual show, we have heard it several times so there might be a reason for that)

I thought she was turning 21, this next week. She wants a cake from sprinkles....
It has to be Jen with Dr. Will and Boogie somehow. The commercials about showtime do have Dr. Will on them...

Stacy- I think you're right. the good players, like in chess, think several moves ahead. Which begs the question- Zach was the chess master of the house, yet he seems completely oblivious and lost to the events swirling around him! He's like the Knight on the chessboard, making L-shaped moves, but never getting anywhere! Oh, wait- that's right! HE is closest to Jessica than ANYONE else in the house. he doesn't HAVE to do any thinking...HA!
Posted by: genuinegeno | Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 11:56 AM
Linda C- You may or may not know this, but Dani revealed her age (20) to Nick early on. If there have been other references to her age, I missed them! But I don't think the age is a big deal at all. I CAN see Dick trying hard to get on the show over the years, then he and CBS came up with this estrangement angle with Danielle. I could also believe Jess being related to them, which would explain why he never attacked Jess either. Yet, in the very beginning, I was suspicious of Mike and Zach being related (Mike being the younger brother). What if EVERYONE in the house had a secret connection with another- Jen and Kail being sisters-in-laws, Mike and Zach- brothers, Dustin and Nick being cousins from Minnesota, Jess, Dani and Dick, Eric and Jameka being college schoolmates (both from NY), Amber and Dick being friends from a rehab center (with Lindsay and Britney too!), Dustin and Joe being ex's, Carol and Jess- we know already...just a thought!

better yet, take a GOOD look at the picture board on the joker's site.
Tell me that Eric and Dustin don't look like alike. Tell me that Mike and Zach don't look alike. How about Kail and Nick? Even Jen and Amber bear a resemblence (in the photo, not necessarily IRL). I think there is something to this angle.
Posted by: genuinegeno | Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 12:29 PM
That what I keep saying genuinegeno why of everyone in the house has Dick never gone off on Jessica and he keeps telling Dani to get close to her she is a nice person. Something is up with Dick and Jessica.

They told Jen to keep Eric in and to vote out Kail last week. They also keep asking to get info from each houseguest and I have read on the feed updates a lot too that they cant say anything about their DR sessions. BB is not letting the house play their game. They seriously talked Amber and Dustin out of voting Eric out. Even Dustin said they talked to him about Eric too.

I agree Sarah, this year it doesn't quite seem fair. Jen came out once and said "It's not fair, you keep wanting me to vote against what I want to do" If DR is pressuring the players it will not be a fair contest.
This is one week that I hope they work their magic, they did it for Eric so BB do it for Dick. Fair is Fair.
