Big Brother 8 Amazing Race

As usual there have been rumors going around that some of the Big Brother 8 cast is going to be asked to be on The Amazing Race. Now that really would be good TV. The Big Brother 8 cast was really entertaining to watch in the Big Brother 8 House. I can only imagine what they would be like on the Amazing Race.

Watching the Showtime nightly feeds, I get the feeling (now that all the in-house competitions are over) that Daniele is STILL playing the game. She is putting Dick through the wringer emotionally. She figures if she can keep him kissing her behind and he wins, he'll give her half the money. I think Dick is wising up slowly but surely. I have never been so tired of one person (Daniele) saying "shut up". It's her favorite expression. She is a bona fide mess. I certainly hope she doesn't win or Dick is really screwed. He'll never see her again and she'll convince him it's his fault.

As far as BB8 goes, I think they might have some legal problems down the line due to the America's Player twist. This was unknown to all and therefore was certainly not included in their contracts. The houseguests thought they were chosen to play by one set of rules, yet they actually were subjected to another set of rules unknown to them. This definitely cost Justin his place in the house. Dick and Daniel would have been out weeks ago. Eric has played Jessica via her girlish emotions--right up to this very moment to try and keep the lid on things. I'm afraid when the guests figure this all out (especially Jessica) and when they're informed of the secret rules they did not sign up to play, they and some very crafty lawyers who will seek them out, will make CBS pay. I think the producers should pay. Their game was a form of entrapment.

Whoever thought up the "America's Player" twist at CBS should be fired. For me, it did not give me a "pure" Big Brother sense of competition -- but a loaded one of which the players were not aware. Hopefully if there is a BB9, they'll just let the rules of old apply and thefore the best player will eventually win. This is the first year we had a set of team players (Dick & Daniele) and this was an unfair advantage for the others and then you mix in the AP factor and you have a competely out of whack set of rules. BB8 will be kinown as the year the contestants were not not allowed to play the game by the rules.

Also concerning the rumor going about that a couple of house guests will be on Amazing Race. I imagine it will be Amber & Jameka. None of the others would be interesting enough. "Around the world in tears and talks with God" would be their motto.

Jack I remember Jen saying on the feeds that she noticed in her contract about America voting in the game and that they had agreed to america voting as part of the game so yes they agreed to it unknowingly :)

Tyler, this was not the first time teams have played the game, it's just the first time they won. BB6 had secret teams that didn't reveal themselves until the very end. Also, every year there are "twists" that by this point the players expect, and I'm sure it's written into their contract.

The tagline for BB8 has always been 'Expect the Unexpected'. Case closed.

Additionally, Big Brother as well as similar reality shows do not fall under the same framework as a regulated 'game show'. Rather it is classified as sports entertainment the same way professional wrestling is.

Danielle is such a disrespectful brat. But then again when you consider whom her father is you can understand why she turned out that way.

According to the feeds, Dick plans to buy a new Harley. He wants "a badass one".

Between his current debts, the new Harley, European vacation plan and BB* Wiener tattoo... all his winnings are already spent.

Additionally, he plans to buy his way out of his current apartment lease and move back in with his mom for awhile.

I would LOVE to see Jen in Amazing Race! Then she can really prove her competition skills or whatever that she wants! I love Jen!

It isn't fair, it isn't fair!! Oh please get real. D&D outplayed the rest so just get over it. Other teams could have made it to the end but they didn't. It's a damn game. I hope Dick wins because Dani has been nothing but a little b!tch since she hugged her dad and was telling him she loved him. It is obvious now she cares nothing for her father and only used his love for her to get to the end. She is acting like a 15 yr. old and hope she loses the big money. Dick has also said he wants to use some of the money for his kids to go to college, but some of you conviently leave that out. Dick can be a real a!s, but he truly loves his kids. I don't blame Dani for having mixed feelings about her dad, but she is being so mean now that they made it to the final-2. I hope the jury sees both sides.

Has anyone ever seen a HG in the final-2 so unhappy in the house? Meaning Dani! Honestly, what is her problem?? I would be like Dick, happy and celebrating! What an ungrateful, little brat. I don't care what problems she had with Dick, I would be soooo happy if I was in her position. I had bad relationship with my dad but I would certainly be happy to have made it to the end, NO MATTER WHAT..

I thought it was odd that Dick and Daniele both knew the other was going to be in the house before the show (this was mentioned on BB After Dark a couple of nights ago). Dick and Daniele had a conversation at the dinner table about Dustin and Joe both knowing each other would be in the house, too. They said the only pair that didn't know of the other one was Carol and Jessica. Dick said he knew that if he were in the house, Dani would be there, too. Dani then said she knew if she were picked that Dick would be there. I believe they even mentioned Joe and Dustin speaking prior to coming on BB8 about the show.
Either way, makes me wonder if the winners were determined before Julie Chen ever introduced the houseguests to America.
I hope theres a BB9 after all the rumors from this year.

Dani is stuck in a house with a man she hates.

Dani has lost her closest friend (boyfriend) because she publicly cheated on him while in the house.

Who knows if Nick will want any kind of relationship after seeing a little bit more of who she truly is... and having time to realize Dani is not trustworthy and can't be faithful.

She hates the public eye on her. She hates the camera. She's the first to tell Showtime viewers to turn off the TV and get a life. She IS a miserable person.

Money cannot fix what is wrong with her. It will only give her more rope in which to hang herself.

Dick on the other hand loves the spotlight. He plays to the camera. BBAD last night was Dick by himself in the backyard talking to the cameras. That was much better TV than anything Dani has done all season.

Dick needs an agent... and a good defense lawyer.

Winner's determined before the show started??? No way. Have you watched every season? This is a reality show and there is no way in he!l the winner's could possibly be picked before the show even started. People will think of every crazy thing under the sun. NO ONE could possibly know who would win comps., who would team up, who would be nominated, who would go home, and on and on.. D&D made it to the end, like it or not. The game plays out and it is not fixed, how could anyone believe that??

Give Dani a break. She's young, her dad is a psycho and her mom is ten times worse. She's very pretty, but I doubt she'll ever be very happy.

EdDunkle--Just curious, do you know Dani's mother? I think you're going to far to say Dick is a psycho. He has lived a certain lifestyle where his language and actions are common among that type of life. What was his childhood like? We don't know. Is he a real ahole at times? Yes, but we all have our life experiences that make us who we are. Dick has problems, that's for sure and so does Dani. I just don't want to see or hear her whining at this point, seeing that they have both won money and she could be a little more grateful in the end. I am still a D&D fan, but come on, she is pouting right now, why?? She made it to the end, be happy. She could be thinking now that she will have to face the real world and what she has done, cheating on her boyfriend, for one! They have to face the jury after BBAD and she is very nervous. I guess I do understand that. I like Dani but she just needs to grow up and I hope she does and has a good life. Dick needs help and I hope he gets it. They both need help. I have a hard time hating anyone even though I said I hate Zach, but honestly, no hate, just hate for his so-called game play and some of his remarks, as bad as Dick, and some were even worse. I wish them all luck in the future.
