Big Brother 9 in February 08

I haven't had time to try and confirm this rumor but I've been hearing that Big Brother 9 is going to start in February of 2008. Rumors are flying around the internet that CBS and Big Brother have already started the casting process. I hope CBS makes an official statement soon. I really hope that Big Brother 9 is starting this winter. I know I can't wait!!

CBS has announced a series of 15 casting calls for Big Brother 9 to occur over the next three weeks.

The calls lend further credence to the rumblings that CBS will bring us another edition of Big Brother as soon as this January. However the casting calls seem to make the possibility of a celebrity edition less likely. Unless it is going to be a mixed show.

If you have been watching other Reality TV shows you have probably seen the nets advertising for new casts. I've seen promos for The Amazing Race, Survivor, Beauty and the Geek, and America's Next Top Model in the last week. The nets are obviously gearing up to replace scripted programming with more Reality TV. Good for us.

i would totally like another season of big brother. not having to wait the 9 months in between seasons would be awesome. people talk about a season being not that good. it all depends on the people that cbs picks. how they interact with each other. they hope that they clash and flames come out of it but, it doesn't always happen that way. a celebrity edition would be awesome. the uk has had many celebrity editions and i have been waiting forever for one to come to the us. finally, cbs thank you
