Big Brother 9 Cast Hopes

As you probably know by now Big Brother 9 is going to begin on February 12, 2008. Right now CBS and Big Brother 9 are starting to choose the cast for Big Brother 9. I really hope they finally start listing to us faithful fans and put some older people in the show. Can we please have some people in their 30's, 40's or maybe even 50's? We are all getting sick of watching mostly people in their 20's.

If faithful Big Brother fans are getting sick so many young people then the regular winter TV viewers aren't going to want them either. So please Big Brother 9 will you cast some real adults this time? Just look at how interesting 40 something Dick was on season 8. I'm sure Big Brother 9 can find some older people who may be interesting like Evel Dick!

I think Dick is the only HG in BB history that can pull off being that entertaining and that old (I don't even think he's that old, lol).

But ew, if even half the houseguests were 40+, I'd gag.

I hope that they keep it young, it means more entertainment, it is a one in a million chance another Dick will appear; but I loved last season. I hope though that this time the people are a little older but nothing over 35, at that point they are a little more boring...

I've read that even though this newest season will be in colder weather, the producers will be pulling out tons of tricks to heat the outside area, including the pool, to entice a lot of bathing suit action. My guess is we're going to get younger, hotter looking house-guests just for sensationalism.

The only reason E.D. was so entertaining was because of the younger hg's in the show. A young group with a couple ED's would be perfect for me :)

Nice to hear I'm not the ONLY one who wants to see an "older" crowd.. I'm SO sick of the 20-somethings year after year... At least make it a fair mix!!! BB is nothing like it used to be the first few years!

I think I agree about the older mix. I already think Big brother does a decent job with ratial mixtures and "sexual orientation" differences, but they need to have more of an age range. I don't mind a majority of 20 year olds because the showmances are fun and it increases "show attractiveness" but I think it would be fun to have older people too. I mean honestly, is Chicken George the oldest Big Brother competitor so far? Why not have grandpa on the show!?

Why would a show geared towards young people fill the house up with old people. Who would watch that? Reality shows in general I think are for younger audiences especially Big Brother. Whatch Dateline or 60 Minutes. Lots of people your own age to relate to there.

Let Big Brother do what they have, produce a great show! The show is always so good. I can't wait!!! I don't want to see all older people, and I am "older". So it is not that. To see people who should have already learned all life's lessons -play a game like this -really doesnt interest me. I probably would not watch then. I think they keep it the way they have, they do a great job with the mix. Dick was older and was great.. well, at times. Kale was older and was the biggest bore and it didnt work. She acted like the saint but ended up being the biggest one to back stab people. Big Brothers producers make good money for a reason (or they should, LOL!) and I trust they will bring in a great cast in season 9. Season 8 comment: I sure do really miss Jessica! She was the best!!!

Wow I cant believe you all like Dick. I think they need to stick with people who are good at the game like Will, Danielle, and Janelle. Evil Dick just yelled at people that doesn't take much skill.

I read a comment closer to the top about colder weather? really its California it doesn't get cold! I'm in a pool at like 15 degrees C...I'm sure there will still be people willing to jump in a pool in Feb. I'd love to be able to do that. As for the age of the cast, I like the younger cast b/c you get more drama and who's gunna hook up with who(or thinks they will) but also the older cast is good b/c it adds in some smarts, it would be good if they did a close to even mix of the ages.

I just want to be one of the older people on Big Brother.The show needs an older influence for sure. I would love to be on the show. My kids all bet i could not do it. I would love to prove them all WRONG!!!!!!

Wow 30 more days I can't wait.I think a mix of young&old works for me.There was to many young ppl in BB8 mix it up.I would luv to see ED come back but I don't think so but like BB says expect the unexpected!!Why some ppl think Jessica was a great player blows me away.Eric
kept her going all she did was sleep.Never cleaned and I never seen her cook or help cook one meal.
